Celebrating Dignity Day
Global dignity day is celebrated on 15th October. Today 71 countries are celebrating Global Dignity Day which include U.S.A, Canada, Pakistan and India e.t.c. It originated in Canada after the Nazi Holocaust.
Global Dignity Day is to remind people that we should respect everyone because they are also humans like us and that we all of us equal.
It is celebrated by donating poor people, giving charity and helping other way. It is also celebrated in schools with numerous functions telling the children that we should respect everyone, our elders, the poor and even little kids. But we should not only do these things in Global Dignity Day but we should do these things all throughout the year.
To contribute to dignity day, we could give charity and do fund raisers like the bake sale in our school and contribute money to charity.
